Skelefont

A literal look into the anatomy of type.

SKELEFONT
Skelefont was designed after investigating the "Anatomy of Type" as part of my further studies. The Typeface was created with a tablet using the correct anatomical sketches of human bone structures which corresponded with the part of that letter. For example the Feet of this Serif font come from actual feet bones. I thought this was important and helped to keep the integrity of the font. I was trying to explain simple design terms surrounding typography to some Fine Arts students and "Kernoporosis" was born to illustrate the importance of kerning. I also completed a medical form to explain the symptoms and treatment of bad kerning.
Thank for your time and remember to watch that kern!
